The art of mashups is a twisted love-hate relationship with a lot of us. You either love hearing how two+ segregated genres blend together, or you loathe the overplayed idea of throwing hip hop and electro beats down on top of a pop/alt rock piece, or the like.

Phoenix Jukebox hit me up with some mashups that kinda made me go dubya-tee-eff-mate? The tracks are almost like mini-minimixes with each song featuring more than a dozen samples and tidbits. But massive tracklisting aside, he does a respectable job in blending all these beats into one coherent piece in the skin of a sub 3 minute dancefloor pop song. So for that, give him some deserved myspace lovin’. And if you are a hater, quit hating til you throw something down that’s better. Shut up.
