MGMT might easily be the biggest band to emerge on the charts this year. Their combination of indie and electro appeal are a 1-2 punch in the blog world, which also leaves many of their tracks to be easily accessable to remixing. Electric Feel has been my favorite MGMT track since the spring when their video featuring the Show-Biz Pizza gang re-haunted my dreams (seriously… those fockers are scary).

And since then, we have seen dozens over dozens of MGMT remixes… some are garbage that feature no creativity or promise. While others emerged as dancefloor-killing tracks, such as our #16 remix today from Dskotek.

Dskotek is an up and coming DJ/remixer from the ever growing and popular scene in Los Angeles (some would say he has already arrived with remixes from incredibly popular acts including MIA, Bloody Beetroots, Crookers, and MSTRKRFT). He even has a very solidly defined sound and style, as many of his tracks feature the same intensely frantic jacked up glitchyness that orders your body to move in ways that would’ve been illegal decades ago.
